Our client tasked us with developing a compressor control panel capable of automatically switching to a standby compressor in the event of a primary compressor failure. This system ensures a continuous supply of compressed air to the factory floor during maintenance or unexpected compressor downtime.

The solution was designed with reliability and efficiency in mind, providing seamless transition and uninterrupted operation to meet the client’s critical production requirements.

This image highlights the control panel we developed. The controls are designed for simplicity, allowing manual switching between compressors, while the system is programmed to automatically switch to the standby compressor in the event of a failure of the running unit.

This image reveals the internal components of the control panel, featuring two contactors used to switch power between compressors. Also visible is the PLC, which monitors the load state and fault status of each compressor to ensure seamless operation and automatic switchover when needed.
